America?s paid search spend on Bing increased about 21.6%, from Q1-2009 to Q1-2010

SearchIgnite, an SEO provider and online media solution company, noted that America’s paid search spend increased about 11.1% during the past twelve months span, from Q1-2009 to Q1-2010. The latest data were collected from January 1 to March 31, 2010, and using a dataset of 50 billion impressions and 1 billion clicks on three top search engines, Google, Yahoo, and Bing. For year-over-year comparison, paid search spend on Bing increased about 21.6%. While on Google, paid search increased only 15.2%.
